Chicken Pasta Salad

So yesterday we were 4 days post Hurricane Sally. We were lucky enough for our power to be back on but we needed more groceries and I REFUSED to go to the store. The grocery stores, drive thrus and home supply stores like Lowes are InSaNe right now. So I foraged in the pantry to see what I could come up with and this is what I managed to piece together.....and honestly it was pretty good. It was very basic and would have been even better with more ingredients but I used what I had.

You can use this as a starter recipe and add your own tasty tidbits.

INGREDIENTS:

One 16 ounce package noodles of your choice, cooked as per instructions on the package

2 large cans of chicken, drained and chicken chunks broke apart with your fingers or a fork

10 sweet gerkins chopped

2 Tsp salt

2 Tsp black pepper

2 Tbsp parsley

2 Tbsp onion powder

1 Tsp paprika

1/2 Tsp cayenne

1 1/2 Cups Mayonaisse

INSTRUCTIONS:

Once your noodles are cooked, drained and cooled, add all the rest of the ingredients and mix well, serve cold.

You can add many other things that your family likes....and that you actually have on hand, like, jalapenos, peas, carrots, broccoli, boiled egg, bacon, etc
